Becky Williams died very suddenly on 5th February 2007. She was a vivacious young woman with a generous spirit and warm personality and was loved by many not only here in the uk but all over the world. Becky lived in London but her roots were deeply entrenched in Ashburton. She had a great love of of her home in Devon and particularly Dartmoor. The Dartmoor ponies were a sight she loved and as a young girl she had a Dartmoor pony called 'Apple' who brought her great joy and comfort. As she grew older her love of children became a strong part of her generous personality. Naturally the sudden loss of such a dear friend and daughter has left her friends and family devastated and it is in the sprirt of her love of her home in Devon, the Dartmoor ponies and children that Haydn and Yvonne, Becky's parents have asked the Dartmoor Pony Heritage Trust to create a lasting legacy to ensure that our children's children are able to see Dartmoor's native ponies grazing in this beautiful landscape. Donations in Becky's name will go to support our Pack Pony Programme, 'Children Saving Ponies - Ponies Saving Children'.
You can also pay by cheque if you prefer. Please send cheques, payable to 'Dartmoor Pony Heritage Trust' to: The Treasurer Dartmoor Pony Heritage Trust 46 Skylark Rise Plymouth Devon PL6 7SN United Kingdom |
