In partnership with some of Dartmoor’s most respected Pony Keepers, including the ones listed below, the Dartmoor Pony Heritage Trust is organising a Showcase Day and Private Sale of approx. 30 Dartmoor Ponies, on Sunday 8th July at the Trust’s Centre at Parke, Bovey Tracey - Perfect chance to meet the keepers and their ponies for sale.

Selected Dartmoor Pony Keepers have been invited to put forward ponies, from unbroken, lightly handled yearlings, to adult ponies broken to ride and drive. Full details of each animal, its history and herd, will be provided and all will have been ‘started’. Each will have a basic level of handling to enable them to go on to become established family ponies for children and light adults, for riding and driving, or as conservation grazers.
